Winter in the Lakes Turquoise Glass Art Wave

A turquoise glass art wave handcrafted in the Lake District – inspired by the natural winter landscape.

The large ornamental wave was handmade from different shades of transparent turquoise glass, opalescent white glass and crystal clear artisan glass.

The textured wave is approximately 23 cm (W) x 12 cm (H) x 3 cm (D).

It is a stand-alone piece of glass art suitable to display on any flat surface, such as a living room bookshelf, mantlepiece, bathroom shelf or windowsill.

The freestanding wave looks particularly stunning placed in front of a window or other direct light source, as the translucent nature of the glass allows light to shine through and reflect colour onto the surrounding surfaces.

It could be used as a candle screen in the evening with a series of tea-lights or small votive candles placed behind it.

When laid flat, it could be used as an unusual dining room table or coffee table centrepiece.

PACKAGING: All items will be securely wrapped in bubble wrap and posted in a well padded box. Although not always feasible, whenever possible, I attempt to reuse packaging in order to reduce the environmental impact.
